The ABBA Arena is a purpose-built music venue in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London. It is home to the much anticipated and newly released ‘Voyage’ stage show from Swedish pop legends ABBA.
However, after a 40-year wait, this is no ordinary pop concert. It’s a first-of-a-kind show with a difference, which will use cutting edge technology to pair a 10-piece live band with realistic digital avatars of Agnetha, Anni-Frid, Benny, and Bjorn.
Dubbed ‘ABBAtars’, motion capture and performance technology have been used to take real present-day performances and combine them with the look and feel of the group at the height of their fame in 1977.
Endpoint was appointed by ABBA Voyage as the wayfinding consultant to develop the wayfinding strategy and sign designs for this unique and landmark venue. Bon voyage!
We’ve attended the rehearsal and would recommend visiting when the show opens after 27th May 2022.
